Fish cooked in Libya style


  • Powdery mildew 1 tsp. 2 g
    Powdered parsley 1 tsp. 1 g
    1 g of ginger-type hot grass (cardamom)
    1 package of parsley 70 g
    100 g of roots of snowmelt 100 g
    Powdery mildew 1 tsp. 4 g
    Turmeric (ginger type) 1 tsp. 2 g
    Round onions 3 pcs. 240 g
    Olive Oil Extra Virgin 3 tbsp. 30 ml
    Hot pepper 1 pc. 1 sh.
    2 g of sweet pepper 2 g
    Powdered black pepper 4 tsp. 12 g
    Tomatoes 6 pcs. 900 g
    2 teaspoons of sugar. 4 g
    Lemon juice 3 tbsp. 15 ml
    Salt 2 tsp. 12 g
    800 g of whole milk 800 g
    5 cloves of garlic 25 g


1To grill like Libya, we need a mixture of fish, lemon juice, onions, tomatoes, hot peppers, snowmelt roots, garlic, salt, sugar, olive oil and spices.

2Wash the fish and cut it into portions. Season the slices with lemon juice, salt, black pepper and sprinkle with parsley. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

3Mashed tomatoes.

4Cut the onion into cubes. Fry lightly in olive oil.

5Add the roots of the snowmelt to the onions.

6Crush the hot sweet pepper garlic.

7Put the garlic puree in the pan. Chop the sweet peppers and mix.

8Add tomato puree and seasonings and cook for 1 minute.

9Spread the vegetables evenly in the pan and place the seasoned fish on top. Put the rest of the vegetables on top. Cover and cook for 40 minutes.

10Eat hot.
